Electronic Data Discovery (EDD) Counsel
(Location: Mountain View, CA)


The EDD Counsel’s role is to passionately and enthusiastically influence decision makers and drive the desire to purchase Clearwell products. This role is responsible for credibly explaining the business value generated with Clearwell to the market and to sales prospects through the creation of product messaging and marketing collateral, and the delivery of presentations.

This position will work closely with Sales, Product Managers and the executive team to create positioning, launch new products, conduct market studies and create effective marketing programs and materials. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the overall market landscape, including competitors and potential partners.
  • Evangelizing and providing product expertise at marketing events, seminars, conferences, and customer meetings as required.
  • Developing robust sales tools and collateral, including white papers, presentations, sales training materials, data sheets, and web site content to influence and close deals.
  • Interfacing with key industry press and analysts.
  • Supporting demand generation efforts with compelling value propositions and product messaging.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS and Law degree required, MBA optional.

Manager of Field Marketing
(Location: Mountain View, CA)


The Manager of Field Marketing position is a new role in the rapidly-growing demand generation department at Clearwell Systems, focused on developing and executing an integrated program of field marketing programs across sales territories aimed at increasing demand and awareness for the North America and International sales teams. Working both independently and in conjunction with marketing and sales, this position will drive all phases of programs that include, but are not limited to: seminars, regional industry events, user groups, outbound marketing, and online marketing.

This position will work closely with marketing and field sales teams to execute programs and manage post-campaign lead management and conversion, including reporting and analysis to demonstrate ROI of implemented programs. Candidate will report directly to the Director of Demand Generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan and the associated tactical elements of a comprehensive field marketing programs, including planning the scope of campaigns, managing content, execution and measurement.
  • Work closely with sales, and marketing to define and understand the vision, mission and objective of projects; providing assistance from creation through post evaluation.
  • Identify and drive participation for appropriate regional event and sponsorship opportunities (association events, road shows, seminars, etc.). Travel to event locations for set up and management on-site as required. Must be extremely organized and able to plan multiple event projects at the same time.
  • Develop program plan documents that articulate details, including program goals, target audience, key messages, program components, metrics and offer details.
  • Work with marketing to coordinate the creation of related marketing deliverables, such as event invite copy, email templates, web copy, event signage, and promotional materials as required.
  • Develop and maintain detailed monthly and quarterly metrics reports of all field programs, analyzing the key components of each campaign, including lists, offers, messaging and creative. Track all campaigns via marketing and sales automation tools.
  • Refine and develop improved business processes to increase lead conversation and cost per opportunity/booking.
  • Manage field marketing budget, ensuring that all projects obtain maximum value for dollars spent.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in demand marketing with an emphasis on field marketing programs, preferably or e-discovery or archiving or in B2B enterprise software.
  • Strong field marketing experience with demonstrated success in executing against set goals and demonstrating success through metrics and reporting.
  • Proven ability in planning and executing seminars, tradeshows, events, campaign management, online marketing, direct marketing and analysis, etc.
  • A team player, effectively interacting with employees at all levels within the company.

Product Manager

This high-visibility role will provide a unique opportunity to take your product management skill set to the next level in a very dynamic startup environment, as Clearwell continues to reinforce its position as the leader in e-discovery software.

The Product Manager will drive the strategy, definition, and implementation of specific features and modules of the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform. The position will report to the Director of Product Management and be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to successful product training and rollout to upgrade and end-of-life strategy. You'll work closely with customers, partners and internal team, including engineering, quality assurance, sales, marketing, and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Working with engineering, QA, documentation, professional services and technical support to deliver a compelling product that solves a critical business problem and delights the customer.
  • Understanding what customers want and communicating that need to internal teams in a systematic and precise way.
  • Managing one or more functional areas of the Clearwell product, including gathering requirements, writing detailed requirements documents, and collaborating with engineering to meet product and schedule targets.

Japan / APAC Business Development Manager (BDM)
(Location: Mountain View, CA — possible move to region)


The Japan / APAC Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key role in forging strategic alliances with leading technology, software and service companies that target the e-Discovery market.

Primary markets of focus include Japan, China, & Australia. The BDM will also support other APAC markets (e.g. Singapore) as needed.

The primary responsibilities of the BDM are to (1) grow distribution, (2) further expand the Clearwell partner ecosystem and (3) drive Clearwell’s message and brand into the broader APAC landscape.

This role requires a unique combination of marketing, sales, technical and business strategy savvy, and offers the opportunity to make a material impact on the company by creating strategic partnerships that drive revenue.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with the VP of Business Development, the BDM will be responsible for new partner development. This includes:

  • Identifying all relevant partnership targets and developing a GTM strategy.
  • Creating tailored sales and market positioning for each target.

In this role, the Director of Implementation Services will build and lead a team of seasoned consultants that will coordinate delivery of exemplary professional services spanning all relevant phases of the EDRM spectrum from Identification to Production.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current state of Clearwell’s Implementation services and make recommendations for process improvement and expansion/contraction, as appropriate.
  • Develop a long range plan for the Implementation service line, including modules, timing, deliverables, pricing, etc.
  • Work in a pre-sales capacity to scope professional services statements of work, tracking a pipeline and calendaring internal delivery resources.
  • Deliver professional services and track to a range of performance oriented metrics, including customer satisfaction, on time/budget and repeat purchases.

Principal Software Engineer in the Office of the CTO
(Location: Mountain View, CA)


Clearwell Systems, the leader in the emerging area of eDiscovery, has an opening for a Principal Software Engineer in the Office of the CTO. In this high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the CTO, you will have a unique opportunity to take your product engineering, design and architecture skills to the next level.

You will work with lead architects, product managers and engineering directors to develop imaginative and innovative solutions to meet Clearwell customer and market needs. As part of overall technology innovation, you will also work with the CTO in defining technology acquisition/purchase plans, help formulate build vs. buy recommendations and assess various strategies for solving customer and business problems. You will also be involved in coordinating large scale customer facing projects on proof of concepts and deployments/pilots leading to successful rollout of Clearwell eDiscovery solutions into large enterprise IT infrastructures. Additional roles include working with Clearwell eDiscovery partners in their evaluation and roll out of Clearwell solutions as well as authoring high-quality technical white papers illustrating the technology and business value offered by Clearwell solutions.

The ideal candidate would have a track record of designing and developing significant components of a successful enterprise application and working with customers in deploying the solution. An understanding of enterprise IT storage and information management infrastructure, business application deployments, maintenance and TCO analysis of business applications is required. You will need exceptional problem-solving expertise and attention to detail, as well as the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and collaborate with our highly skilled engineering team.
