Implementation

Our implementation services help partners, law firms, enterprises and governmental agencies deploy the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform in a range of differing environments, across a diverse set of use cases such as litigation, investigation or governmental inquiry. First and foremost we ensure that client needs are evaluated, after which we chart out a customized implementation plan. Finally, the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform is rapidly installed, configured and set up to deliver immediate value.

Installation/Configuration

The Clearwell Installation and Configuration Service offers enhanced capabilities to ensure that the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform is deployed correctly and efficiently in your specific environment, which is particularly important for clustered and/or secured environments.

During this phase, Clearwell EDS will focus on:

• Pre-Installation Planning: Review client’s IT environment, security requirements and use cases to ensure customized and efficient installation. Create a customized agenda for installation. Cover any logistical hardware/software needs.
• Document Source Configuration: Identify applicable remote data sources, such as remote file shares, Lotus Notes & Microsoft Exchange Servers and archives. Configure and validate Clearwell connectivity to each remote document source.
• Export Strategies and Printing: Evaluate the need for the production of customized metadata formats as part of the ESI export process. Identify and document data export standards.
• Clustering, Backup and Archives: Evaluate and deploy network and appliance level protocols including appliance clustering, disaster recovery backups, and application-level upgrades.
• User Management Planning: Define a set of common roles to be applied across all cases. Create common case templates and the (optional) integration with Active Directory for authentication to the Clearwell E-Discovery Platform.
